General Conference

Dear Family

I wanted to start out my letter by writing my favorite things from conference.

Quentin L.Cook-  I liked the quote he said " Until you feel you need Forgivnice, Christianity doesn't exist."

Ann Dibb-" I'm a Mormon are you , know it live it love it."

Shayne M Bowen- " All of our pains and sorrows will be swallowed up in a Fold of Joy."

Russel M. Nelson-" ask the missionaries."

Dieter F Uchtdorf- "The ladder of success is nothing compared to the journey that lays in front of us in the life after this. Lets not be the boy who dipped his toe in the water and claimed he went swimming. We determine our happiness. Enjoy the moment. Don't focus on the finish line, Enjoy the Journey. Happiness is available all the time. Don't wait to be happy after you reach a hie goal or get to a certain destination in your life."

M. Russel Ballard. "Service is done by the pure religion."

Robert C. Gay- "Would you sell your soul for a nickel."

Scott Whitting-" We can not hide any sin from God We must check the unbuffed walls and the imperfect windows and fix those imperfections within ourselves."

Deal A Anderson- "Distancing yourself from the church of God during the trial of your faith, is like leaving the secure storm cellar at the time of the tornado. With Faith commends trials of Faith which comes increased Faith."

Henry B Eyring-" Our won desires create a pavilion over us, to make it feel like God is not there. God is always here for us, we just need to tear down the pavilion, so we can see Gods influence in our life. God Will never lose view of us, so we need not to lose view of God."

Linda K Burton-" First observe then serve"

Jeffery R. Holland-" If i could get Fish, I could get fish. "

Robert D Hales-" Doing the Fathers will, will help us dot the things we never thought was possible. "

That is some of my notes. I don't have time to write all of them. But conference was great. I don't think I have ever taken so many notes. I hope you all enjoyed it. This last week. I went through an experience of finding a new house and moving in within 3 days. Boy was that stressful. But i am thankful I have an Armenian companion. We no longer live in the 3 story house. haha yeah 3 stories. It is super muddy up here. Lately I have had a hard time finding new investigators and helping them see the importance of baptism. I'm glad to hear you all are doing great. I hope this next week. will pick up for us. Its getting colder here. I also want to say thank you all for your great examples to me. No matter how many mistakes i have made in my life, you all have been there for me. to help me back to the path. I love you all so much. I hope all of you are happy, and all of you are healthy.

Love Elder Rackham
