"Most" is the word for bridge in Russian

Dear Family

Happy Easter

So this last week me and my companion were hit by a sick bug. Mine was a cold. His was something else. But we are doing lots better now. It was gloomy last week but this week it is nice and sunny. Me and my companion went out running and it was a little windy over the bridge. Fun fact if you want to learn Russian the word for bridge is the word most in English. When I come back Jason I will teach you how to speak Russian. This last week I had a chance to participate in the English group at church. It has been over a year in a half since I have had sacrament in English. It was very different. In the last month there have been four baptisms here in the English group. And there are all from different parts of the world a few from Iran, India, and the Philippians. I wish you could see this People from other countries coming to Armenia, to find the Gospel. Isn't that great!

Yesterday I talked to an Atheist. He said because he is Armenian he says he is Christian, but he doesn't believe in God. That makes sense. It’s so interesting to talk with so many people that have so many different ways of thinking. But yet it’s so frustrating for the work of God. The Soviet Union has twisted and messed with the gospel of Christ here in this part of the world. And it’s sad to see people deny the truth. These people are a kind and gentle people, but because of pride and transgressions from others they suffer. Confusion and darkness overwhelm them. The day will come that we will have to stand before God and we will be judged for our works. I am so happy to be here and have my purpose to serve God by introducing this people to the Book of Mormon.

I love you all and hope you all have a wonderful week.

Love Elder Rackham
