Conference

Dear Family,
these are some great talks that I enjoyed from conference

"No matter how many times you have slipped or fallen, rise up! Your destiny is a glorious one! Stand tall and walk in the light of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ! You are stronger than you realize. You are more capable than you can imagine. You can do it now!"
Dieter F. Uchtdorf

"Our Heavenly Father, who gives us so much to delight in, also knows that we learn and grow and become stronger as we face and survive the trials through which we must pass. We know that there are times when we will experience heartbreaking sorrow, when we will grieve, and when we may be tested to our limits. However, such difficulties allow us to change for the better, to rebuild our lives in the way our Heavenly Father teaches us, and to become something different from what we were—better than what we were, more understanding than what we were, more empathetic than what we were, with stronger testimonies than we had before.
This should be our purpose—to persevere and endure, yes, but also to become more spiritually refined as we make our way through sunshine and sorrow."
By President Thomas S. Monson

this last week went great, we have been walking a lot.  but it has been great. I realize those days that we might not be having to much success, God is testing us. its all about,  "keeping your chin to the grinding stone" - by . but God comes out blessing us and others, if we keep our end to the bargain. every single day we need to pick up our cross and follow Christ. by keeping the commandments, and listening to the spirit to what we should do to help others. This past April conference, there was a man who talked about the commandments. and he said that the commandments are not like a buffet. you cant pick and choose what ones you will keep. we need to keep all of them. such as the covenant we made at baptism, we need to help others with their burdens, reaching out to all.

I love you all and hope you all have a great week.

Love Elder Rackham
