Well Zach gets done with his training on April 11th and he is very excited. He had his first transfer this past week. He is now in a place called Shanghavit (don’t ask us how to pronounce that one). His new companion is Elder Peterson and he is from Clinton, Utah. The only down side for Zach, is that he got sick and wasn’t able to be as productive as he wanted to be in his new area, but he is bouncing back.
Zach is also excited because there is a full-time Armenian missionary that is going to be serving in his mission. Zach is hoping that they can be companions so he can help him improve on the language.
This past week Zach also got to go to President Carter’s (his mission president not the U.S. President) house for a night. After that they went to a member’s house and got to hear the wife sing Indian music (Zach reiterated that it was India Indian, not American Indian music, funny kid).
He is still doing great and growing in the spirit a ton. He will get to watch conference but it will be recordings that they will watch this week.
Keep it up Elder Rackham!!
