Well the Rackham family sent some pictures to Zach from Miranda’s baptism. He commented on how big the family is going to be when he gets home (which is true, since he will come home to twice as many nieces and nephews than what he left with).
Zach had some great news this week; Abraham (one of his investigators) wants to get baptized. How exciting for Zach. He said that Abraham is already in 2Nephi and is trying to learn a lot about the definitions in the Book of Mormon, and try to understand more. He has accepted the word of wisdom through prayer and stopped drinking Black Teas. Zach hopes that they will give him his baptism interview at the end of the week. Zach also talked about how Abraham wants to learn English and that they are making flash cards for him. Abraham’s life is truly turning around for the better and he is receiving blessings that are expanding his testimony.
Zach also talked about Aram, another investigator, coming to church and having a great desire, but just can’t seem to make it on time. He has contributed this to the poor public transportation that is in Armenia.
Well, Zach and his companion had another run in with some Jdubbs (Jehovah’s Witnesses). It sounds like they are very confrontation and are out to give the missionaries a bad name by getting into arguments with them. Zach talked about how upsetting it is to him for them to tell him that his church is wrong. He wrote a great testimony that he has of the gospel and of Christ. He is truly growing so much and is following the spirit. You can just tell how he writes that he is definitely in tune with the spirit.
The language is still coming for Zach; this week he was pushed out of his comfort zone (he wrote that “comfort zones are danger zones”). He said his companion got sick and lost his voice for a few days, so Zach had to do all the talking. He is doing Great.
