Davtashen

Zach got transferred last Friday to a new area called Davtashen. Davtashen is a district of Yerevan, the capital of Armenia. Zach was saying he was in one of the coolest areas in Armenia and now he is in one of the hottest area. He says it is really nice though and Zach says most of the members know English. His new companion is Elder Watterson from North Carolina.
Zach told us one of the members son just returned from a mission in Canada. He told us that they played a little joke on him and the return missionary pretended to be a member of the Armenian church and was wanting to know more about the church. So Zach got some good practice in.
Zach also told us that they were over at a members house eating dinner and he ate a really hot pepper. He said he started sweating really bad. So they cut up an onion for him to eat and then gave him a mug of this salty rotten milk to drink. Zach says they love to drink that stuff in Armenia. Sounds interesting. He usually doesn't like to drink it but he was desperate.
