So I came to Internet today instead. I went to Vanadzor because we had a baptismal interview taking place there and I conducted it. It was a great experience. This last week there was an Elder that got really sick and they took him to Yerevan from Vanadzor that night. We found out he had appendicitis and he had surgery done in Yerevan. The surgery went well but he hasn’t been able to eat the last five days. While I was there I saw Sergo again.
This last week wasn’t the best. We had an investigator die. At least that’s what his mom and sister told us. We have a thought that he isn’t. Because when we called the mom said it out of anger and hung up the phone. And the sister came to our branch president and asked for money still. He was only 32 years old. And he was hit by a sickness where he was bed ridden. The last time we saw him he was sitting up and he ate on his own that day. He had been improving. It was sad.
This last week we also found some new investigators. When we told them about Joseph Smith's first vision they thought I was Joseph. And they said they wanted Joseph to pray. It was really funny. But we got it straightened out. It has gotten super cold here this last week. It dropped to -22 degrees at night. We have been having a hard time talking with people because of the weather. But we have gotten our investigator the Hovannes on a plan to stop smoking. And we are trying to help him by calling him every day.
When I said I had a second Christmas I meant that here in Armenia they celebrate Christmas on the sixth of January. Elder Arshakian says hello. I love you all and you all have a wonderful week
