Monday for preparation day I made cinnamon rolls for
the first time in my life. They turned out pretty good. Last night we were
calling contacts that were written in our area book. They were from 2004 up to
2012. After calling about 15 people we came across a guy who wanted to meet. I
was so happy after that.
So we have a lot of Russians that live by us. And so many
people think I look Russian now. It’s crazy what people will think. Anyways I
know how to say “I don’t know Russian” in Russian. So some guy came up to me
and started speaking Russian. And I said “I don’t know Russian” he had a really
puzzled look on his face. He had an Armenian friend next to him. He explained
to him we know just English and Armenian. Not too much happened there. I thought
I would just share that moment with you all.
The weather here is super cold. Me and my companion are
trying to winterize our home. We went to a little home depot to by some window
ceiling stuff. We didn’t know how much
we needed so I ended up buying a tape measure for 700 dram. That is $1.75. It
was cheap but really nice tape measure. Anyways I hope you are all keeping warm
and safe. I love you all. Speak to you next week.
Love Elder Rackham
